In the very heart of the Urals, where emerald forests guard the secrets of ancient mines, a remarkable new sculpture from the Zmey Ognei collection was born — Maklaud Uzho — embodying the spirit of Pavel Bazhov’s timeless tales.
Maklaud Uzho represents Poloz, a magical serpent with a human head — the mythical guardian of mountain treasures. This unique creation is made from bronze, Ural malachite, and citrine — materials long revered as symbols of strength, wisdom, and the natural essence of the Ural region.
Every detail of the sculpture conveys the magic of an ancient legend: Poloz, coiled in rings, guards his treasures. His scaly body gleams with a bronze shine, as if awakening the ancient mines, while the malachite patterns imbue him with the calm of eternal mountains. Citrine sparkles in Poloz’s scales — a stone that symbolizes hidden knowledge and a deep connection to the earth’s core.
Born in the Urals, our brand honors the traditions of Ural artisans, transforming precious stones and metals into works of art. The Poloz sculpture is not only a tribute to ancient legends but also a celebration of the enduring Ural spirit, pride in our native land, and its natural wealth.
