Maklaud Darkness

A mystical image that takes you into a world of dreams and strange fantasies is part of the plot that combines horror and a dream. The rest of the narrative and its unexpected ending lie outside the scene depicted in this sculpture. They are stored in the head of the author-creator, but subtle details-references allow the viewer to guess the essence of what is happening.
A saucer in the form of a spider’s web of childhood nightmares, a metal monster surrounded by soft toys, whose suffering images are caricaturally exaggerated... What is this story about?
And what if you close your eyes and, as if into a spider’s web, fall into the depths of the mind, where children’s and adult fantasies filled with monsters from books and stories, and sometimes reality, mix into a dizzying kaleidoscope... Between incredibly frightening fears and hiding shadows, to meet someone completely unexpected... Suddenly: this gloomy character, dressed in an intimidating appearance, may not be an enemy at all... And a friend?
This sculpture tells a story as old as the world: everything is not always what it seems. Sometimes, it’s much kinder.

Unique materials and artistic approach

Maklaud products are handmade from the sketch and prototype of the model to polishing and packaging, which explains their exclusivity and quality corresponding to works of art of small forms.
