Maklaud Envy

The new luxury model ENVY opens the unusual 11.11 Collection, which will feature only five pieces — each dedicated to the image of the scorpion.
ENVY is more than just an art object. It’s a trajectory in sculpture. The scorpion’s curve carves an almost closed arc in the air — like a lunar orbit, like a symbol of returning to oneself. It appears frozen between motion and stillness, as if time held its breath. Here, the form doesn’t simply inhabit space — it commands its rhythm.
The scorpion is one of the oldest symbols of transformation and dual power. In Egypt, it guarded the path to the afterlife; in Greece, it embodied retribution; in Sumerian texts, it appeared at the threshold between worlds. This creature merges instinct, control, and inward focus. In this work, the scorpion becomes more than a relic of myth — it transforms into an archetype of the present: alert, poised, precise.
A massive head and arched body create balance through tension. A refined and unexpected detail: the mouthpiece holder made of oak wood is mounted in the scorpion’s claw, forming an additional artistic line and becoming part of the composition.
This piece doesn’t «tell» a story — it acts: physically, visually, emotionally. It leads the gaze, provokes response, and enters a nearly theatrical dialogue with its surroundings.
A model that speaks through form, material, and scale — equally at home in a private collection or a gallery space.

Unique materials and artistic approach

Maklaud products are handmade from the sketch and prototype of the model to polishing and packaging, which explains their exclusivity and quality corresponding to works of art of small forms. The work uses classic, as well as alternative materials and technologies, which we constantly research and successfully master in our work.
